The ryokan style room and private open air bath is exceptional, and the staff hospitality were awesome it's exceed my expectation. Since i'm prefer green tea more than roasted green tea in the morning, they provide me with the green tea in the breakfast menu for my breakfast set, didn't expecting that. Overall, very satisfied with this ryokan, will back for sure.

From the moment we arrived at this traditional Tokyo inn, our experience was nothing short of wonderful, largely thanks to our exceptional host. Fluent in English, he was not only a treasure trove of local knowledge, sharing insights and tips about Tokyo, but also incredibly attentive. He performed a good luck ritual for us upon departure, assisted with our luggage, and even served us tea on our last day, adding a personal touch to our stay. The inn itself is a perfect blend of the old and the new. While it retains its traditional charm, evident in its structure and decor, the facilities are modern and impeccably maintained. The cleanliness of the place was noteworthy. Our room, furnished with comfortable futons and well-preserved tatami carpets, provided a genuine Japanese living experience. In terms of location, the inn is conveniently situated. A supermarket is just a 2-3 minute walk away, while both a 7-Eleven and a Lawson store are within a 5-minute stroll. The Minami Senju station, reachable in about 10 minutes on foot, offers easy access to major districts like Akiba and Ueno. Furthermore, the iconic Asakusa area, home to the Sky Tree and Sensoji Temple, is a leisurely 30-40 minute walk from the inn. This accommodation far surpasses a typical 3-star hotel in Tokyo in terms of both charm and service. It comes highly recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere of Tokyo while enjoying modern comforts. A hidden gem indeed!

Remek hangulat, tradicionális környezet, közvetlenség, kultúrált mosdók, házi készítésű reggeli. Ételallergiára is odafigyelnek, ha jelzik nekik, és igyekeznek alternatívát találni. Remek elhelyezkedése miatt kellemesen bejárható a város.

A 2013 júniusában megnyílt The Edo Sakura egy japán stílusú Machiya villában található, 5 perces sétára az Iriya metróállomástól és 10 perces sétára a JR Uguisudani vasúti pályaudvartól. The hotel itself was lovely and the staff were so friendly. It was an amazing experience. The breakfast was delicious.

Ryokan Sansuiso is only 450 metres from JR Gotanda Train Station, on the Yamanote Line. It offers traditional Japanese accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) floors, futon beds and free Wi-Fi. Everything pretty nice. The people who work there was also very kind and I could be relax at that bath.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Super comfortable room, I loved the futon. The staff at the reception were super friendly and helpful. I can 100% recommend it.

Offering free bikes and quiet street view, Tokyo inn Sakura An is set in Tokyo, 200 metres from Tokyo Origami Museum and 600 metres from Chiisanagarasunohonno Museum. It was located in a nice corner of Asakusa. A bit of a walk and definitely cold during winter. But nice walk nonetheless. Host was superb and so friendly.

Nobori is situated in Ome, 42 km from Mount Takao, 43 km from Fuchu Park, and 44 km from Fuchu Art Museum. The 2-star ryokan has mountain views and is 41 km from Tamarokuto Science Center. I liked that it was isolated from busy city Tokyo and that it was super close to nature and the mountain. The hospitality of the host was unmatched, the food dishes were delicious and hearty. I saw a tanuki the first day of the trip. It was an amazing day even when it’s rainy, because you can stay inside and relax.
