There was google chromecast provided and we even had a "mini-bar" in the fridge with some beers and coke which was great as we forgot to buy it before. Basketball pitch nearby and lovely landscape at hand. We will definitely return!

Scandic Roskilde is located by Roskilde Ringen Park, just 5 minutes’ drive from central Roskilde. It offers Nordic-style rooms with French balconies and free Wi-Fi. Very clean, no frills, friendly and quiet with a park complete with jogging trail with mile markers right out the back door. We really liked the breakfast too, 5 star breakfast at 3 star prices!

Featuring garden views, Københavnsvej provides accommodation with a terrace, around 31 km from Frederiksberg Slot. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. The location is very convenient for working at Risø campus. The communication with the owner was efficient and it was easy to checkin.

Dating back to 1695, this elegant hotel offers modern rooms with free WiFi. Roskilde Train Station is just a 5-minute walk away. This hotel is centrally located; however, it was hard to find due to some road construction nearby. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good. Nearby are plenty of restaurants and Cafés. We ate at one of the recommended restaurants and enjoyed a 10% discount. After dinner, we enjoyed a nice evening walk. There is plenty to see and do in Roskilde. The Viking Ships Museum was the highlight of our short visit. We were thankful for the room upgrade!
