The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean.
The food at breakfast and overall dishes at their restaurant was really good in comparison to other restaurants in the city centre, which I sincerely do not recommand.

Except the man in his late fifties who was either the manager or owner...why not him. I was talking with the receptionist, he had no idea what for but I'm English and have lived in Bulgaria for 17 years and speak Bulgarian, something he did not know......he entered and said very abruptly...finish that now I have work for you.....ok he's some type of boss but my conversation was important as should be the way clients and staff are treated.
BUT
..all the other staff were WONDERFUL.
Friendly, effective and accommodating.
Smiles and chat which for me, traveling alone is very important.
If you do decide to go, the evening food menu includes ribs. They were delicious 😋

Small family hotel, with traditional exterior and room decor. The lady at the check-in was very helpful and kind, she walked us to the room and made sure we had everything we needed.
The two-bed room was spacious (for this type of property) and had a large bathroom, both very clean. All furniture is in traditional style, which gives the rooms a lot of character, and our balcony had a beautiful view towards the cliffs and over the rose garden.
There is onsite traditional restaurant also with a very nice garden. They also serve the breakfast there which had a lot of variety in the weekend (buffet style) or cooked to your order on the weekdays. Everything tasted great.
The location is perfect - steps away from both the new town center, the covered bridge and the Old town, with two very good “mehana” restaurants nearby for typical Bulgarian food in historic houses.
Walking up the hill to the medieval fortress and the giant Vasil Levski statue takes only 5-7 minutes from the guesthouse.

Lovech is a beautiful city as it has its own history related to Bulgarian. Just visit the museums, old town, the fortress and don't get away from the traditional restaurants (there are really good ones).
At the area just go to Krushuna waterfalls, Devetashka cave and if get lucky and interested in, maybe you'll able to visit some hidden gems :)

We were late for just over an hour due to unforseen circumstances. We hadn't realised that the host had waited over an hour in the car park to make sure that we had a free good size parking spot for our large van.
He went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable. On reflection we should have given him 10 for excellent, instead of 9 for, superb.
We definitely recommend the apartment, and will fo back there when we are in Lovech again. The apartment was lovely.😀

Lovech was a charming town, with historic areas and surrounded by nature. If we stayed another day we could have explored all of the nature areas around which there was a lot very close by. It was a charming, quite historic town and would be great for anyone who enjoys culture, nature and relaxation.

Quite a nice town with an authentic feel to it.
Quite a nice town with an authentic feel to it. The old part of town, the covered bridge, the fortress and the city park are to be explored and the city museums to be visited. The region offers places one should make time for too - Devetashka cave, Krushuna waterfalls, Kukrinsko hanche.
Over all a traveler can have a really well-rounded 3 day trip here.

We were there for one evening and the following morning only. This was a stop on our way back to Sofia. A lovely village we walked around, enjoyed meeting people along the way (smiling and waving since noone spoke English), playing with dogs we met along the way. One puppy joined us on our walk for about an hour. It was great. We saw the covered bridge, and the fortress the village is faomous for. But I don't think there is much else to do here. But for a one night stop along the way, it was perfect.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Full of charm! The staff (maybe the owner?) was so nice, immediately brought us a kettle, the frig was an added bonus, free parking. Location in the old village area was perfect. 5 minute walk to the covered bridge area with cafes, walk to grocery store, fairly easy to walk up the steep hill to the fortress. Breakfast was good, and the owner was very generous. This was a stop along the way which turned out to be one of our favorite places in Bulgaria.
A memorable stay, starting from wonderful host who took time to explain us the history and what to visit in Lovech (with great music in the background) to the actual house which is like a museum. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and for our chosen room most wonderful was serene balcony with greenery all around. Common kitchen is very well equipped. We only wish we could have stayed longer. All recommendations!

The staff was very friendly. The room was super clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. The location is amazing! The look and feel of the house is definitely reflecting the old Bulgarian traditional architecture and interior.
Great location. Lovely building, parking space close, even tho it might be tricky in the narrow streets. Lovely building, old so it's not as spacious as some might desire. The bathroom is very small but it's perfectly fine.
A lovely little find at the heart of Lovech. Amazing location, kind and approachable host, the apartment has everything you would need during your stay in Lovech. I can highly recommend.
