Beautiful location set in the natural surroundings, quiet and relaxing but yet close to the road and Mecavnik. Hosts are great and they welcomed us with homemade raspbery pie and coffee. We enjoyed our stay and we hope to come back again.

We had an amazing stay with hosts Milica and Miroslav, they are very warm and hospitable people. We felt like their special guests as we got rakia and coffee every day of our stay. But more importantly, we spent the evenings together talking about life in general. Indeed, we felt like children visiting our parents.
The room is very clean and comfortable. The house is close to the train station and grocery stores.

Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

A jewel in the Balkan hills. The Train Ride through the mountains each s spectacular. Great hiking and biking paths. Saw some motor cycle clubs too. Else just hang out and taste the mountain air. My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. Beautiful architecture of the place combining traditional and modern design, surrounded by an amazing scenery. Various activities are available on site, such as spa & wellness, table tennis, hiking.. Staff perfectly helpful. Definitely going back there!

Beautiful place in the mountains with an operating train doing tours through and around the hills. The place was nice and clean with a good breakfast included. Very serene and peaceful surroundings. Next to the Tara Nat'l Park it has great views, access to the Sargan 8 train trip and Bella Voda for medicinal water. Peaceful spot but need your own transportation. The groceries are minimal so bring food if you plan to cook your own as well. Dvengrad small but interesting but charges to tour until 7pm. After that you can access the bar and restaurant with free entry.

Amazing four nights just near famous railway and Kusturitsa village (didn’t I mention that the location is perfect? Grocery store (the only working in Mokra Gora is in the next building, all main attractions are 5-minute nice walk!)

I visited with my dog, Lara, for 4 days in August 2021. Everyone is very friendly, kind and ready to help. I love the mix of the traditional and modern design, authentic food, relaxed vibes. The place is well maintained and clean. The cake shop offers lovely old-style home-made desserts and locals sell their products at a few booths within the complex. All the tourist attractions are nearby (although a car is necessary to visit them). I will return!
