Facing the beachfront, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers 2-star accommodation in Ino and has a shared lounge, garden and terrace. Our best stay during our three week Japan trip in 2024 with 8 people in total (including a toddler and kindergarten aged kid). The hosts are very nice, the breakfast and dinner they provided for us was exceptional, and the view from our room was great, too. They take great care to be ecologically mindful. Everything was very clean. The owners also provided us with valuable info on what to do during our stay in Kochi, so we had a blast exploring the beautiful nature surrounding this guesthouse.

Situated in Shimanto-cho, EkimaehouseSamaru is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto and 24 km from Monjudo Temple. It was a great location with great staff. He was very helpful. I just wish I could’ve stayed longer than one night.

Situated in Konan in the Kochi region, Guesthouse Suisennosato features a garden. I loved the hospitality that I received there. The owner of the lodging went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and provided for. Today I left early for my pilgrim walk and did not have breakfast. The lady sent me a message and brought me the food and additional lunch 30 km away. She just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She did not need to do that, but she did. It was also raining yesterday and I did not want to leave the room. she brought me lunch on her own initiative. She is smiley and helpful and kind and the place is super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation for anybody.

Located a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride from JR Kochi Station north exit, Katsuo Guest House offers Japanese-style dormitory rooms with air conditioning. One of the best hostels I have been to in Japan. The staff were amazing, the place was comfortable and cosy and it had a really nice atmosphere throughout the whole stay. Have to mention that the owners were very helpful with anything I needed and were super friendly.

Located in Mimase and only 30 km from Daizen-ji Temple, guesthouse ONAKA provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Washi Studio Kamikoya is located in Yusuhara. The place is beautiful, both the location, giving you a great view of the valley and the property itself. It's decorated with art made at the washi studio.

Guesthouse boro-ya is located in Toyonaga. The property has barbecue facilities, as well as a garden. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the guest house, each room has a terrace. Azusa and Yancy were wonderful hosts who had a lot of great advice about activities for the area. Spacious and beautiful home with incredible views! A great place to relax. I like driving back roads, but would probably recommend taking the road from Toyonaga, Higashidoi which exits near the Kondo Store.

Located in the mountains surrounded by nature, Guesthouse En is located in Ochi at an elevation od 400 metres. The property features a garden and offers luggage storage space. The environment is extremely nice. In the morning you can see the mist on the mountain top.
