The Chateau was stunning. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was beautiful, elegant and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurants near by. Demeure de la Vignole is a 17th century residence located in the Loire Valley. It offers an indoor heated swimming pool carved into the rock, just 5 km from Fontevraud Abbey. The setting, the room, the service, breakfast (organic and local specialities), the neighboring vineyard, la piscine, everything was perfect. The Loire valley in this area is quite special with its cave apartments and châteaus. The hosts were supernice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.
